As you may be aware, over two years ago, we were approached by an outside source that stated that our product labels were incorrect. The attached letter from our lawyers explains the "legaleze” version of what happened.
Upon hearing of these "incorrect” labels, we immediately submitted our products to two well-known certified laboratories for testing: Silliker Inc. in Cypress, CA and Certified Laboratories Inc. in Buena Park, CA. The test results confirmed that our products were labeled accurately.
Because of bad publicity, suddenly our products were pulled from shelves, our distributors walked away and we were devastated. We then discovered that one of our suppliers had changed ingredients without notifying us, which changed the tasting of our products, we engaged new suppliers, rebuilt the recipes. We never want this to happen again, so, to ensure the accuracy of our labels, we have implemented a program to have all of our products tested two times per year. This was and is a huge commitment for our small company, but it is worth it since we care about you, our customer.
